Gonadotropins will help you conceive if you have tried other fertility drugs without success.
Gonadotropins is given by injection for 7 to 12 days. These fertility drugs will help you produce several eggs instead of just one. After you are finished with these injections you will then be injected with another drug that tells your ovaries to let go or mature eggs. If one of your mature eggs meets a healthy sperm in your tubes, they then travel to your uterus. Then you will have a great chance of becoming pregnant.
Side effects associated with the fertility drugs gonadotropins are abdominal tenderness, bloating, fluid retention, and weight gain.
The success rate for women using gonadotropins are usually 20 to 60 percent become pregnant.
The cost of gonadotropins fertility drugs are about $2,000 to $5,000 per cycle.

If you have ovulation problems caused from a benign tumor found in your pituitary gland, then the bromocriptine fertility drugs are for you.
Bromocriptine can be taken by mouth or vagina in pill form. These fertility drugs are taken for a few months and your doctor will keep track of your dosage and may adjust it throughout the months that you take the fertility drugs.
Side effects of bromocriptine are nausea, dizziness, fatigue, diarrhea, and headaches.
Around 90 percent of women taking these fertility drugs ovulate for the entire time they are taking the drugs. 65 to 85 percent of the women do in fact get pregnant.
Cost of bromocriptine in the United States is around $75 to $112 per cycle.
