How To Use Them Properly

drugs that can help with losing weight.

weight loss drugs after your doctor has prescribed a medication
for you.
The main weight loss drugs on the market today are:
* Phentermine
* Adipex
* Bontril
* Phendimetrazine
* Ionamin
* Meridia
* Xenical
* Didrex
* Tenuate
Each one of these weight loss drugs is appetite suppressants
and if used along with proper diet and exercise should produce
the weight loss that you want to achieve.
Before taking any weight loss drugs talk with your doctor
about any health problems or other medications you may be
taking.
How to take each weight loss drug:
* Phentermine - should be swallowed whole. Do not in any way
chew, crush, or break before swallowing. You should take this
drug in the morning before breakfast or a couple of hours
after breakfast according to your doctor’s recommendation.
Be sure you take this drug at least 10 hours before bedtime.
Do not take 2 doses at once!
* Adipex - should be taken 30 minutes to one hour before meals.
Your last dose should be taken at least 4 hours before bedtime.
If you can not take the last dosage, skip it and start over
in the morning. Do not take 2 doses at once!
* Bontril – The same as Adipex.
* Phendimetrazine - The same as Adipex.
* Ionamin – The same as Phentermine.
* Meridia - Can be taken with or without food. Do not take
2 doses at once!
* Xenical - You can take this weight loss drug during your
meal or up to 1 hour after your meal. With Xenical you need
to eat a low calorie diet that has no more than 30 percent
of fat in the meals. You can skip taking Xenical if your meal
contains no fat.
* Didrex – The same as Adipex.
* Tenuate – The same as Adipex.
Side effects of taking the above weight loss drugs:
* Phentermine – nervousness, restlessness, difficulty
sleeping, or dry mouth.
* Adipex – Same as Phentermine
* Bontril – Same as Phentermine
* Phendimetrazine - Common side effects that usually show
up in the first few days of taking these weight loss drugs
are blurred vision, dizziness, dry mouth, sleeplessness, irritability,
upset stomach or even constipation.
* Ionamin – Same as Phentermine
* Meridia – The most common side effects for these weight
loss drugs are sore throat, upset stomach, sinus inflammation,
rash, more painful menstruation, nervousness, nausea, nasal
inflammation, loss of strength, loss of appetite, pain in
the joints, insomnia, increased appetite, headaches, flu like
symptoms, dry mouth, dizziness, depression, increased coughing,
constipation, back pain, anxiety, indigestion, and abdominal.
* Xenical – vomiting, vaginal inflammation, urinary
tract infections, increased problems with your teeth, problems
sleeping, rash, respiratory tract infections, rectal pain
or discomfort, oily discharge, nausea, muscle pain, menstrual
pain and or more cramping, increased defecation, headaches,
gum problems, gas with fecal discharge, flu like symptoms,
fecal incontinency, oily stools, fatigue, earaches, dizziness,
diarrhea, back pain, arthritis, anxiety, abdominal pain or
discomfort.
* Didrex – dry mouth, trouble sleeping, nervousness,
and restlessness.
* Tenuate – Same as Phentermine
When taking any weight loss drug as with all medications,
if any symptoms arise that you are concerned about consult
your doctor. Never take any weight loss drugs that are prescribed
for you. Talk with your doctor about exercise and diet to
help maintain the weight loss after you no longer need the
